About us
THE PALAMPUR DELIGHTS
Pure. Rare. Himalayan.
Honestly, it all started with a simple love for good tea.
I'm Anshul Kumar, founder of The Palampur Delights. Before starting this brand, I spent 3 years learning the craft of green tea — understanding how it's grown, when the right time to pick the leaves is, and what makes one batch better than another. That hands-on experience is what gave me the confidence to start something of my own.
Palampur is a small hill town in Himachal Pradesh, tucked between the Dhauladhar mountains and the Kangra Valley. It's known for its tea gardens — and if you've ever been there, you'll understand why the tea grown here tastes different. The air, the altitude, the soil — everything just comes together in a way that's hard to explain but very easy to taste.
What We Actually Do
We source our green tea directly from single estates in Palampur. That means the tea you get is from one specific garden — not a mix from different places. Every batch is handpicked, which takes a lot more time and effort, but it makes a real difference in quality.
We also make sure everything is completely organic and natural. No chemicals, no shortcuts. The tea is processed the traditional way — the same methods that have been used in these hills for generations. We just didn't see any reason to change what was already working beautifully.
Who Buys From Us
Most of our customers fall into one of three groups — and you might see yourself in one of them.
There are people who are serious about their health. They read labels, they think about what they eat and drink, and they're not willing to settle for something average just because it's convenient. These are our kind of people.
Then there are people looking for a really good gift. Something that feels thoughtful and premium — not just another box of sweets or a generic hamper. A beautifully packaged Himalayan green tea from Palampur tends to make people feel genuinely special.
And then there are people who've simply decided they want to take better care of themselves. They're not chasing a trend — they've made a quiet decision to live better, and good tea is part of that.
Why We're Online Now
We started small — meeting people personally, making them a cup, watching their face when they tasted it for the first time. That will always be our favourite part of this work.
But we kept getting the same question: "Can I order this online?" People wanted to share it with family in other cities. They wanted to reorder without having to call. They wanted it delivered to their door. So here we are.
Nothing has changed about the tea or how we source it. We've just made it easier for you to get it.
Thank you for being here. We hope you love the tea as much as we love making it available to you.
